The organization has created partnership with the following organizations: The Salvation Academy, www.salvationacademy.org IDEAS Limited, Architects, Engineers, Management & Development Consultants Afro-European Medical and Research Network (AEMRN), www.aemrnetwork.ch Africa-Finland, a non-governmental, non-political organization in finland. The Sierra Leone Arc of Hope has been endorsed by Sierra Leone's First Couple: His Excellency the President, Dr. Ernest Bai Koroma, President of the Repblic of Sierra Leone, and her Excellency, the First Lady, Sia N. Koroma. Sierra Leone Arc of Hope is now a FULL 501-C-3 TAX EXEMPT organization, where monetary and other donations of $250.00 and above are fully tax deductible. Tax exempt status is effective January, 2009. SIERRA LEONE ARC OF HOPE HELD ITS FIRST HUMANITARIAN FUND RAISING DINNER AND DANCE ON SATURDAY 10/10/09, AT THE HAMPTON CONFERENCE CENTER IN MARYLAND, AND IT WAS A GREAT SUCCESS! Thanks to the Foundation members, Board of Directors, Sierra Leoneans, and Friends of Sierra Leone. Attendees came from far away places to include England, New Orleans, Texas, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Georgia, Minesota, Virginia, etc. Some Sierra Leoneans and friends of Sierra Leone made some hefty donations, and pledged additional future support. Since its inception in Washington DC on November 15, 2008 the Sierra Leone Arc of Hope is proud to announce the following accomplishments: The organization started as a small group with one project in mind, the 50th Sierra Leone Anniversary. But it has quickly evolved into a non-profit organization, hence the name the Sierra Leone Arc of Hope. The Sierra Leone Arc of Hope has secured a Federal EIN. The organization has been registered in the State of Pennsylvania as a non-profit organization. The Articles of Incorporation has been filed with the State of Pennsylvania
